Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Carol's Pink Shower

My sister-in-law makes fun of blogging, so I hesitate to document her wedding shower, but alas I really enjoyed the preparations and creations for the day, so Carol you are being blogged. I made the invitations and printed them on Paper Source Stock and used a strip of the PS flora and fauna decorative paper to wrap the middle third and finished the wrapping with a thin pink bow. The day was hosted by Carol's aunt and it was a beautiful tea party with delicate yummy food.

This is too cool, you can make your own font with this software. I have been looking for this for a long time. And its free, free. Awesome.

A beautiful sweater.

My dear friend Nancy has been working on a sweater for our little Oliver since June and she finished it and it is gorgeous! A lovely sage, with the softest woolen yarn and beautiful details. I am still a novice knitter, so I really appreciate the love and care that goes into a handknit piece.
