My Mom is up foe the week. It is great for all of us to have her here. Some of the fun:

An Orange Birthday.

Our little Wyatt is 3, his favorite color is orange...why not have an Orange 3rd Birthday Party?

It was great 3 little friends came over, played games, decorated orange hats, ate orange food and had a grand time.

Kitchen Visualization.

We are going to remodel our kitchen. It is a huge investment, but we are ready, at least to buy the cabinets. The kitchen designer has been over and we have been to his office 3 or 4 times. I think we have it all worked out, but we just have to decide on color. So I need your votes.

Our house has beautiful walnut woodwork that we could never reproduce, so my thought is go with painted cabinets. The space is small and we are getting rid of a window, so we do not want anything dark. I am thinking that the white will flow with the house, where a light pine might not...but white is 15% more. Crazy. Never would have guessed that. So here is our current inspirations found here and at This Old House. Let me know what you think. Also thoughts on glass doors?

Monkey Time.

Hey Grammy, look the monkeys fit! Our little 6 month old Oliver is wear 12 month cloths. Even though he does not eat during the day, he is still growing fast. Few. Happy half birthday little boy.

It really is cute, he wanted to make breakfast and we had just had hard boiled eggs the day before...but still after a few don't you think he would have gotten it?

Trick or Treat.

Even though he did not get any candy, Oliver made out well with the most costumes! Gotta love the lion, nice work ehh?
